President Barack Obama is in New Orleans today as a part of a visit that will include remarks to the National Urban League conference.

"He's addressing a national convention, unlike a rally in New Orleans," Dr. Silas Lee, a pollster and research strategist, said. "He recognizes the fact that by addressing a national convention, with thousands of people, it definitely has the potential to translate to greater support."

The National Urban League has many local affiliates nationwide. Lee expects the president to tap into that audience at Wednesday's event.

In the meantime, former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney is preparing to head overseas as part of a multi-country visit. He is hoping to bolster his image as a someone who can represent the U.S. overseas.
