Baton Rouge, LA — Starting on Monday, April 9, the section of Staring Lane between Highland Road and Kingcrest Parkway will be shut down for three weeks.
During that time, workers will install and test a new sewer pipeline, all as part of the city's Green Light Plan. Under that plan, the Staring Lane extension will have four lanes connecting I-10 and Essen directly to Burbank drive.
Drivers are encouraged to use Highland Road, Bluebonnet Boulevard, Kenilworth Parkway or Perkins Road as an alternative route.
The project should be completed by Monday, April 30.
