Exxon-Mobil is working to clean up 1,900 barrels of oil in Pointe Coupee Parish.

Officials tell NBC33 News the oil is from the North Line Crude pipeline. The 22-inch-wide pipeline starts in St. James Parish and brings oil to north Louisiana.

Exxon-Mobil says about 80,000 gallons of oil has spilled.

All of the oil has been contained, and the cause of the spill is still under investigation.
