In Terrebonne Parish, a 19 year old man is in jail after police say he hit his girlfriend, then, shot a man in the leg. Houma Police say it happened earlier this week. Authorities say they found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his thigh and a female victim with minor injuries. Henry Allridge, Jr. was arrested for Attempted Second-Degree Murder, Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation, Simple Battery and Simple Criminal Battery.

In Caddo Parish, Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an aggravated burglary that left one woman injured. It happened in the 1000 block of Riding Club Lane in
Shreveport. According to the Caddo Sheriff's Office, a 21-year-old woman's door was kicked open and she was beaten by a man. They’re searching now for Whitney Christine Picard, 24, and Michael Shawn Hare, 32. Picard is wanted as a Principle to Aggravated Burglary. Hare is wanted on Aggravated Burglary charges.

In East Baton Rouge Parish, students and faculty at Baton Rouge Community College lined up today for free flu shots. Leaders at the school told us they're hoping by getting the flu shots out early this year, fewer people will end up infected. Flu season usually hits its peak in January.
