Baton Rouge (NBC 33) — In Livingston Parish, a now former employee of the school system is locked up and facing a list of charges after deputies say he was inappropriately involved with six young girls. Thomas Broady, 25, is charged with 14 counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juveille. The incidents are thought to have happened in late September and early October. In Lafayette Parish, police are investigating what they're calling a suspicious death.
They say a forty-eight year old man wearing just his underwear was harassing patrons and employees at the Super Six Hotel just after 11 yesterday morning. Police say a security guard from the hotel confronted the suspect and cuffed him, but had to tackle the man when he tried to get away. Lafayette Police say when they arrived, the suspect experienced some kind of medical emergency and died. An autopsy will be done to determine his cause of death.
In East Baton Rouge Parish, a local lawyer is coming home tonight with a $10,000 and a new title: “Bachelor of the Year”. Ryan Chenevert won a national contest held by Cosmopolitan Magazine.
