CADDO PARISH: Copper thieves shut down an area high school. That’s because they managed to get away with thousands of feet of copper wire from the school’s air conditioning units. It happened while students were on spring break.

CALCASIEU PARISH: A former priest was re-arrested after further investigation revealed more claims of sexual abuse. Mark Broussard was already behind bars, but he was re-arrested and charged with 100 counts of sexual batter and 40 counts of aggravated rape. His bond is set at $2 million.

LIVINGSTON PARISH: New federal flood maps will go into effect tomorrow. That could impact thousands of homeowners in the parish, costing them more money.
