Ouachita - A routine call in west Monroe turned deadly when a suspect pulled a firearm on officers. Police responded to a domestic disturbance call between a 50-year old white male and a female resident. One of the officers tried to get in contact with the individuals inside residence. Once the officer was inside the suspect refused the officers commands to exit the residence. According to police he turned around and pointed a firearm at the officers. The officers ordered the suspect to put the gun down. When he refused they opened fire. The suspect was taken the hospital. That's where he died. The investigation has been turned over to Ouachita parish sheriff's office.

East Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge police have arrested three people in connection to a shooting on Mcclelland. 21 year old Carzel Robertson has been charged with second degree murder. That while 17 year olds Jerrid David and Keymah Hills are charged with conspiracy to commit second degree murder. The shooting happened earlier this week. Police say it started because of an argument. The victim died at the scene.

Lafayette - Police say 25 year old Deshawn Montgomery is not only behind an early morning shooting, but he's also the same guy police say robbed the shell station on West Congress Street back on May 7th. Police say earlier today, Montgomery shot at someone after an altercation on High Meadows Boulevard, and after they arrested him. They linked him to the shell robbery where he allegedly made off with some cash from the gas station's register. Montgomery's been charged with attempted second degree murder and armed robbery.
