Lafayette - its day 24 in the search for 22 year old Lafayette resident Mickey Shunick. Volunteer and officials are still searching for any clues to her disappearance. A major change is eliminating the search parties and instead concentrating more on getting flyers out and working social media to generate awareness.

Former chief Hunter Grimes announced he'd be stepping down to take a position with the state police bureau of investigations a few days back. Lee has been a police officer in walker for twenty five years. He will serve as interim chief until an election in November for a permanent chief of police.
