Livingston - Deputies arrested two men for allegedly stealing copper from more than 40 FEMA trailers. 27 year old Colt Pittman and 23 year old James Hood the second allegedly took power cords from the trailers off private lot near Holden. One of the men admitted to going into a trailer stealing money from a wallet and taking a welding ring from another trailer to pawn. The two men remain in Livingston parish jail and face felony theft charges.

Ouachita - The Ouachita parish sheriff's office is investigating a murder at a Sonic drive in. According to police Desmond West struck the victim, his wife, Katherine West with a vehicle. Desmond then left the vehicle and shot her with a small caliber hand gun. Desmond then returned to his vehicle and shot himself.

East Baton Rouge - Police say a small car cut off an 18 wheeler entering eye ten at the Louise Street on ramp. The truck swerved to avoid hitting a parish dump truck. The 18 wheeler over turned spilling trash all over the roadway. It took clean up crews more than three hours to clear the incident, both truck drivers are ok. Police say they're looking for a late model white Pontiac four door car with dark tinted windows.
