Assumption - Sheriff's deputies bust three people at a suspected meth lab. Deputies say they found the stuff needed to make a meth lab yesterday at a home on highway 1011. Tonight 34 year old Neil Templet faces several charges including operating a clandestine lab. 31 year old Ryan Simoneaux and 37 year old Cherie Martinez were also arrested in that bust.

Livingston - A former councilman is behind bars tonight on drug charges. Robert Ringo was arrested along with four others during a drug bust of a Satsuma home. Deputies say they found more than 1,700 oxycodone pills and $6,000 in cash. According to the police report, both Ringo and Berthelot told agents that "neither one has a job, besides selling oxycodone pills."

Jefferson - A woman just released from jail back behind bars tonight. Deputies say 49 year old Lynne Platt was locked up for disturbing the peace. Deputies say when she was released, she hired a cab to bring her home. We're told she paid twenty dollars for the 54 dollar ride, ran inside and didn't open the door when the driver asked for the rest of the fare. The cab driver called deputies. That's when she was re-arrested and booked with refusal to pay cab fare. Platt was released again on five hundred dollars bond.

That's a look at what's happening - parish by parish.
