UPDATE: The Baker Police Department has determined that a meth lab was the cause of an explosion. Clayton Daigre and Loni Aymond were arrested in connection to the operation of that meth lab. We’re told three young children were also living in the home.

ORIGNIAL STORY: An investigation is being conducted at a mobile home in Baker after an occupant says she heard a loud popping sound immediately prior a noticing the home was on fire.

The blaze started at around 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19 at Crestview Trailer Park. When firefighters arrived on scene they found the mobile home engulfed with heavy smoke and fire was coming from the rear portion of the home.

The fire spread to the roof and caused substantial damage throughout the entire structure. Fortunately no one was injured.

Investigators say the origin of the fire is of a “suspicious nature,” but have not yet determined whether foul play is suspected.
