NBC33 reporter discusses heat exhaustion

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — As temperatures continue to rise and the possibility of record heat looms, the reality of heat exhaustion sets in. Over the weekend, several people were treated for heat exhaustion out at the Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge at Tiger Stadium.
Last week, NBC33's Kelsey Scram experienced the symptoms first hand. After spending nearly four hours out in the scorching sun, her body became dehydrated and the physical symptoms were overwhelming. She describes that experience exclusively here on NBC33tv.com.
