BAYOU SORREL, LA (NBC33) — Officials are asking the public’s assistance in locating a woman who was last seen heading to work. She never arrived and has not been seen for a nearly two days.
A missing person report has been issued with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office for Courtney Duncan, 26, of Bayou Sorrel. She was last seen leaving Wal-Mart on Wednesday, March 13 at roughly 10:45 a.m. Family members say she was on her way to work at Louisiana Bayou Bistro in Brusly.
Duncan was expected to arrive at work by 11:00 a.m. When she didn’t show up, her co-workers began calling her phone, but it was turned off. Officials have not been able to track her phone.
Duncan is described as 5’6” tall, roughly 185 lbs, with long, black, currly hair. She was last seen wearing her work uniform, which includes black pants and a black polo-style shirt. Her vehicle is a silver Toyota Rav 4 with Louisiana license plate TYP955. She is the mother of a 5-year-old child and those close to her say this is very uncharacteristic of her behavior.
