NEW ORLEANS, LA — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Lamont Smith, 41, who was last seen on Friday, at approximately 3:00 p.m., leaving his residence in his vehicle in the 3600 block of Timber Bluff Lane.
Smith’s mother advised police that she spoke to her son by phone later that Friday evening, but his whereabouts were unknown. Throughout the weekend, she has attempted to call Smith several times on his cellular phone, but has been unable to reach him. Smith’s mother explained that this is uncharacteristic of her son.
Smith has been diagnosed with a medical disorder and is in need of his medication.
Smith is described as an African-American man, dark complexion, approximately 5’11” tall and approximately 260 pounds. He has short black hair with a salt/pepper beard and wears glasses. Smith was last seen wearing a gray button down shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
Smith’s vehicle is described as a black 2004 Nissan Sentra bearing license plate number TTA903.
