GARYVILLE, LA (NBC33) — Foul play is suspected in the case of a missing teen who was last seen two weeks ago in Garyville.
The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that Mikivon Anderson, 17, was last seen by his sister on March 26, 2013. Family members told investigators that he rarely ever strays away from home more than one day at a time.
Officials say Anderson lives in the 200 block of Little Hope Street in Garyville. This is the same location where a 29-year-old man was found murdered back in January. Authorities have not said if the two cases are connected. However, they do believe foul play is possible in this case.
The Louisiana State Police conducted an aerial search of wooded locations in the area, but did not find any possible leads.
Andrerson is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, he has scars above and below his left eye. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, call the St. John the Baptist Sheriff’s Office at (985) 359-TIPS (8477) or call Crime Stoppers at (504) 822-1111.
