Coach Miles arrived late to the press conference scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19. He began speaking at around 6:20 p.m.

“I certainly understand the interest of what seems to be news,” Miles said. “There’s a process I go through and it’s not going to be short cutted for me to communicated information that I cannot share.

“I can only tell you that I’m doing this for the best of the team,” he added. “That being said there’s no information being said about any specific player that I’ll address at this point.

Coach Miles then said that the team is looking forward to the upcoming game against Auburn on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Earlier today reports swarmed that Corner backs Tyrann Mathieu, Tharold Simon along with Running Back Spencer Ware will all miss this Saturday's game against Auburn."

If you've seen the Tigers play, you'll recognize those names.

Mathieu, a standout cornerback, holds the LSU record with 9 forced fumbles in his young career, he's currently 2nd on the team with 42 tackles. Spencer ware is tigers leading rusher with just over 500 yards. He's tied for the lead with 6 touchdown runs. Tharold simon is forth on the team with 29 tackles he also has an interception to go along there as well.
