Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The Metro Council will wait until tomorrow to bring up a proposal to buy the Old Woman's Hospital site for a new combined police-sheriff's headquarters.

The Mayor's Office reached an agreement to buy it for $10 million, but the council still has to approve it and find the money to pay for it.

Any vote on the matter would have to wait until January, when the new council is sworn into office.
