Baton Rouge, La (NBc33) — The Baton Rouge Metro Council is working to decide how to spend about $200,000.
The money is what's left in a discretionary account that originally was in Mayor Kip Holden’s hands.
So far, several council members have different ideas on how to spend the money; the requests range from summer programs to crime fighting.
All of those requests add up to more than $400,000.
Council is expected to come to some agreement at tomorrow's meeting.
