Louisiana Culinary Insitute food drive
BATON ROUGE, LA. (NBC33) — The Louisiana Culinary Institute (LCI) Student Council has put together a Food Drive benefiting the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
Each class at LCI is competing to donate the most non-perishable food items. Each week the Food Bank will pick up the food and weigh/tally each barrel.
The winning class will be featured on WBRZ morning show November 11th.
If you would like to donate non-perishable food items please come to LCI. All Food Barrels are located in the Lobby.
Current totals as of October 11th equal over 434 pounds of food already donated.
Look for a Food Bank checklist of approved non-perishable food items located at the front desk.
