Loftus resigns from CATS
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — New information in the constantly changing management of the Capital Area Transit System: board member Jared Loftus has resigned.
In a letter, Loftus says corrupt fellow board members influenced his decision to leave.
Although he believes in CATS and public transportation in general, he stated that “selfish" board members with personal agendas have to be fired before any progress can be made.
Loftus urges other board members to follow in his footsteps, and says he's lost all confidence in the board's ability to do the right thing.
