LOCATED: Elderly man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in need of medication

JEFFERSON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — UPDATE: Larry Simpson was located and returned home safely to his family. He was unharmed.
ORIGINAL: The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to locate a missing 76-year-old man.
Officials say Larry Simpson was last seen at the intersection of Airline Highway and Labarre Road in Metairie at about 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10. He was in a 2003 silver Dodge Ram truck bearing the Louisiana license plate H246596.
Simpson suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is in immediate need of medical attention.
He is described as 5’4” tall and weighs roughly 180 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing green pants, a cream-colored shirt and gray hat.
