Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Mardi Gras isn't just for the adults - toddlers at Runnels Preschool had a Mardi Gras parade of their own today.

The kids made their entrance on decorated wagons, bikes and scooters. They even got to throw out beads and wave to the crowd.

Some of the kids in the parade told us this is their favorite time of year.

Students from Runnels High School helped the preschoolers decorate their floats. They were even in the crowd to catch the throws.
