The 2013 “Cry Out America” 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony & Prayer Service will be held in the Livingston Parish Council Chambers in Livingston, at 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 11.

The public, businesses, government agencies, schools and churches are encouraged to take an hour off to come together as a parish on this historic day that changed our lives and our world forever.

As we remember the horrific events of September 11, 2001, Americans will gather at noon in courthouses all across the Nation to honor the many sacrifices made that fateful day, and to voice united prayers for our Fed./State/Local governments, leaders, military, first responders, educators and students, and for our future.

Patriotic music will be performed by the Livingston Parish Children’s Choirs with Barbara Walker and Melanie Rushing.
