Louisiana (NBC33) — A recently released psychiatric evaluation performed on Brandon Lavergne reveals a history of reported sexual and physical abuse.
The psych evaluation shows Lavergne reported repeated sexual abuse by a baby sitter, as well as repeated physical abuse by his adoptive father.
An IQ test given to him also shows he was more than competent to stand trial; he also scored above average in intelligence tests.
Lavergne did admit to having homicidal thoughts in the report.
Lavergne plead guilty to killing both Lisa Pate and Mickey Shunick in mid-August.
