Lafayette hospital to fill more than 150 positions; nurses with specialized experience encouraged to apply

LAFAYETTE, LA — A job fair will be held Wednesday, June 5, for Lafayette General Health, which is accepting applications and conducting on-site interviews to fill positions at University Hospital and Clinics.
The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Teleconference Room 32 at University Hospital and Clinics, 2390 W. Congress St., Lafayette.
An estimated 150 to 200 positions are available including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, employee health positions, switch board operators and many others. The hospital also seeks to hire registered nurses in a variety of areas. Registered nurses with experience in surgery, trauma, emergency, critical care, oncology or intensive care units are encouraged to apply.

Lafayette General Health is gearing up to take over this summer from LSU Health Care Services Division to operate University Hospital and Clinics, which was formerly known as University Medical Center.
