Ponchatoula, La (NBC33) — A southern Louisiana high school had to be put on lockdown today after a report of a gun on campus.

It happened this morning at Ponchatoula High School. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office searched the school.

We're told they found a gun that a 15-year-old brought to school.

He was arrested and taken to the Florida Parishes Detention Center.
