Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Grad Act 2.0 is a go.

At LSU today, Governor Bobby Jindal signed that bill into law.

It builds on last year's Grad Act by giving the individual colleges and universities the power to make their own decisions.

"This bill will cut red tape, give schools more autonomies just here at LSU, just here at LSU A&M in baton rouge they estimate this legislation will save them over 52 million dollars over the first five years of implimentation." -said Governor Jindal
