For the second time this week I-110 at North 22nd Street was closed due to a single-vehicle crash.

DOTD alerts that the southbound lane is shut down due to the crash that involved an overturned vehicle. Traffic was diverted off at North 22nd, but it is now moving again.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating the crash. They say the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and hit the retaining wall. The vehicle flipped and the driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

On Monday, an overturned 18-wheeler caused that strech to close for roughly 6 hours. The driver was cited for Careless Operation.

Officials say the driver in today's crash will be issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle.
