Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Decorating your home for the holidays can be pitfall for less handy people. So here's some tips to keep yourself safe this Christmas season.
Home Depot Electrical Manager David Stringfellow says common injuries when installing lights are falling off ladders, and being shocked by the wrong type of extension cord.
He says every year customers coming into home depot to ask him how to repair broken windows and damaged gutters.
He says easy tips like buying the right types of ladders, and making sure they're level when installing lights can save you a lot of headache this holiday season.
