A reported hit-and-run crash has traffic moving at a crawl across the Mississippi River Bridge.

The crash happened at roughly 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25. Little information is known at this time. However, we do know at least one person is injured.

As of 6:20 p.m., DOTD reported that the right lane of the bridge is closed, with traffic passing in the center and left lanes. Traffic is backed up as far as I-10/110 merger.

As of 6:40, a second crash has created problems leading up to the bridge. I-10 West near the Perkins exit has the center lane blocked due to a crash involving two 18-wheelers. The damage seems to be minimal. However, traffic is also moving slowly and backing up in this area.

We will continue to update this link with new information as it becomes available.
