Help fill boxes to send to children in need

This week Baton Rouge-area families are joining millions of people across America to send 8.5 Million gift-filled, personalized shoe boxes to hurting children in 100 countries.

Below is information about the drop-off location in Baton Rouge. This will help notify local participants of when and where they can drop off their shoe box gifts during National Collection Week—November 14th through November 21st. Additional locations can be found online.

VISUALS: The collection centers will be transformed into Christmas workshops, collecting an expected 15,000 shoe box gifts from Baton Rouge residents bound for hurting children worldwide.

SOUND: Local volunteers and kids can talk about their passion for Operation Christmas Child, and the reasons why they volunteer each year.
