BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — The Baton Rouge Little Theatre is donating all of the proceeds from Wednesday’s performance to VIPS. There is a free reception the benefit show, with wine and light snacks.

Last year, VIPS served over 800 kids in our community, helping students learn to read, improve math skills and build confidence, through mentoring.

Tickets are $29. You can buy them at the door (many shows sell out early), online, vips.ebrschools.org or over the phone, (225) 924-6496.

Hairspray runs through July 31 at the Baton Rouge Little Theatre on Florida Boulevard. The VIPS benefit show is Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m.
