Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Gas prices continue to remain high across the country, including Louisiana.
Prices typically fall after Labor Day; however this year, unforseen evens, such as Hurricane Isaac and unrest in the Middle East, are forcing the prices to stay on the high side.
Here's a look at the latest prices for Baton Rouge, according to GasBuddy.com:
The average price today is $3.65 a gallon, which is down one cent from this time last week, but eleven cents higher than this time last month.
The average price across the country sits at $3.86.
