Funeral held for Jori Lirette
THIBODAUX, La (NBC33) —
Family and friends said goodbye today to Jori Lirette, the seven year-old brutally murdered last week. He was laid to rest this morning in Thibodaux.
The young boy with cerebral palsy was decapitated in his own home last Sunday by his father, Jeremiah Wright.
Since then, the small town has been mourning the loss of one of their own. All who knew him, say he will deeply missed.
A fund to pay for little Jori's funeral is set up at Whitney Bank. You can go to any Louisiana location and make a donation to the family.
