Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Louisiana's former governor, Edwin Edwards, will be a free man on July 6. His 6 month house arrest will be over.
Edwards was sent to a half-way house in Baton Rouge 6 months ago.
Edwards says he will not talk to the media tomorrow, will hold a press conference on July 30.
He has announced on Facebook that he is engaged to a woman from Alexandria, he's planning a book tour with his biographer, Leo Honeycutt, and there are even talks about a reality television show.
