Flags flying half-staff to remember 9/11 attack
BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — For the next five days, flags at all state buildings in Louisiana will fly at half-staff. This as a show of respect for Louisiana’s fallen civilians and service members who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 attack.
Governor Bobby Jindal issued the executive order to honor the 130 brave men and women from Louisiana have lost their lives since that historic day. Many more continue to risk their lives daily in military operations.
