BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — For the second time in two days a fire has damaged the same Baton Rouge home.

The latest fire struck at around 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13. The house is located on the 1700 block of St. Croix street just a few blocks from Burbank Boulevard.

Both fires began in the kitchen. There was also damage to the dining room area. Nobody was hurt by either fire.

The causes of the fires are still under investigation. The residents of the home are currently staying at a hotel.
