Electrical fire shuts down flights at Baton Rouge Airport

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) —
Baton Rouge Airport Police confirm reports of a small fire at an electrical box at the Baton Rouge airport temporarily shut down commercial flights this evening.
The fire cause all the lights on the commercial runways to shut down grounding planes for the time being.
Crews arrived on the scene immediately and are working to bring the airport back up an running as soon as possible. They expect to have the problems fixed by 10:45 PM.
A flight set to leave from Baton Rouge airport to Dallas, TX tonight is rescheduled until tomorrow morning.
