Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The headquarters for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff could be on the move.

The office is looking at moving to a part of Baton Rouge Metro Airport.

The move was approved by the airport's Board of Commissioners last night. Now, the proposal goes to the Metro Council for a discussion and vote.

The current headquarters on North Street is set to be demolished later this year.
