BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Baton Rouge's Green Light program is getting some national attention.

It's a $600-million road improvement plan in East Baton Rouge Parish that is now being featured in the fall issue of the DDC Journal as a key initiative that's been spear headed by a local government.

City-parish officials say national recognition is a good thing and shows Baton Rouge is on the move.

This is the second time the Green Light plan has been highlighted nationally.
