Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The Department of Transportation and Development says they're looking at ways to ease congestion on a part of I-10.
A study will be done on the interstate from the Mississippi River to the I-10/I-12 split.
At issue - all the congestion that builds up during rush hour.
Some early options include adding another lane, or finding ways to have less cars on the road.
DOTD says they hope to wrap up that study by early next year. It could be years before any changes are completed.
