Donaldsonville, La — The Donaldsonville City Council moved forward Tuesday night with plans for a new logo and website, according to our news partners at TheCreole.com.
The council approved of spending for the site’s hosting and updating costs.
The duties to be completed include design and hosting for the site, production of the new logo, and updates to the site and social networking components.
The new website domain name will end in .gov, designated only for a government entity.
Dezins Interactive, will handle the design and hosting of the site. The committee chose Dezins over two other companies it considered. The hosting costs will range from $95-$250 per month.
