Dog set on fire in Baton Rouge backyard

BATON ROUGE, LA — Investigators say someone set fire to a dog overnight in Baton Rouge.
BRPD, the Baton Rouge fire Department, and animal control were called to a house in the 12000 block of Warfield Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on October 30.
The BRFD told NBC33 that the bedding of the dog's kennel caught on fire in the backyard.
The dog is severely burned and is with animal control.
The investigation is ongoing.
