District 6 community meeting to take place on Thursday

Baton Rouge, La — Councilwoman Donna Collins-Lewis will host a District 6 Community Meeting on Thursday, September 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church LCMS, located at 10925 Florida Boulevard.
All District 6 constituents and community stakeholders are invited to attend.
District 6 is roughly bounded by North Foster Dr. to the west, North Flannery Road to the east, Choctaw Drive, Greenwell Springs Road to the north and Florida Boulevard and Old Hammond Highway to the south.
Special Guests include Carey Chauvin, Steve Shurtz (DPW Permits Office ), Maimuna Magee, Joseph Scott (Parish Attorney Office), Interim DPW Director David Guillory, Planning Commission Director Troy Bunch, and the Baton Rouge Police BRAVE Project.
The topics for discussion for the meeting will be planning & zoning issues, ordinance changes, and enforcement. The Councilwoman will also introduce the officers of the BRAVE Project to the District 6 Community.
