Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Metro Council Members say crime cameras will be maintained by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
That ends the long process of hiring someone else to do the job.
There are more than 120 crime cameras in Baton Rouge.
Councilwoman Tara Wicker says the Baton Rouge Police Department can do as good as job as any other organization.
The move could save Baton Rouge tax payers money.
