Central, La (NBC33) — The Central City Council now has two more members.
The Council agreed that a city with a population of 27,000 was too big for only five people to be on the council
The Council proposed two "at large" seats for members who could live anywhere in the city.
Talks of a seven person council have been in the works since earlier this year, Councilman Wayne Messina says a bigger council can better serve the central community.
