BATON ROUGE,LA (NBC33) — The Baton Rouge Metro Council refusing to take an official stand on whether or not they're in favor of the "CATS tax " that will be on next month's ballot.
The council originally had planned to pass a resolution either supporting, or opposing the CATS property tax to fund their operations.
After several minutes of debating, the council couldn't make a decision, and instead made a motion to remove the resolution from tonight's agenda.
The property tax vote is in April and a "yes" vote would bring in an estimated 18-million dollars to the struggling bus system.
