An audit regarding over $100,000 in missing CATS bus fares has been completed and the results are being turned over to the District Attorney’s office, officials announced in a press conference Monday.

Additionally, CFO Gary Owens announced his resignation, but officials would not say whether his resignation was related to the investigation.

NBC33’s David Lippman will have more on this story coming up on NBC33 News at 5:00 and 6:30.
