BRPD working to identify man found lying in roadway with serious head injury

An unidentified man is in the hospital in critical condition and police need your help to identify him.

The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the victim was found in the 6500 block of Scenic Hwy at around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. They believe the man was struck in the head.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. They have been unable to identify him and hope someone can provide his name based on his description.

The victim is a black male with a dark complexion, 5’8”-5’10”, 165 lbs, and a low hair cut. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and Adidas brand tennis shoes. He has gold teeth with two missing teeth in the front and two tattoos. One is located on his stomach and the other is on his bicep. Both say “P-Dog.”
