BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) - — UPDATE: Police say they seized 49 pair of tennis shoes, including the ones he was wearing at the time of the bar fight last Friday. Police will not say why those shoes were taken from his home. No arrests are expected today.

Before 6:00pm Wednesday, investigators with the Baton Rouge Police Department searched Jordan Jefferson's apartment.

Jefferson lives at the Oakbrook apartments near Nicholson and Lee in Baton Rouge.

Sgt. Don Stone with the Baton Rouge Police Department says several bags of items were taken from the apartment to police headquarters.

Just yesterday, Jefferson was one of four football players interviewed by police for nearly three hours.

The four players are "implicated", according to police, in a bar fight early Friday morning.  That fight took place outside Shady's bar.  Four people were hurt, at least one severely.
